I was impressed by my 2013 reading list, until I saw this article from VICE, today.

With a -13 hours in my work weeks last year in Spain, I bolstered my reading effort. In my defense, it was a little challenging to access new English books, and many of the books I read over there were circulated through  American friends. I didn’t quite match Vice’s Blake Butler, but I still had a good run.
